My First ‘Fan Letter’
Let me preface by saying this is a Squarespace website. I’ve had a free Google website before (not for The Hanaak Directory, but for another business) and I had private numbers constantly call me to set up Search Engine Optimisation. At the time I had no money, so I declined. Eventually I closed down that business.
The other day, I received an email telling me my SEO was in a critical state and I should contact that person straight away. This blog post is a warning to anyone who wants to start a website, especially on Squarespace: do not give in to these SEO scouts.
I’m convinced they’re a scam, and I’m convinced they would try to hijack the website. Squarespace has its own SEO, and it’s not so hard to do it yourself in the settings.
If you are one of these SEO scouts (and I’m prepared to hear from more of them), I will mark your letter as spam, and you will never be able to contact me again.
If you’re sending genuine fan mail, you know, like how much you like a character, or you have a question about Elco or the plot, all you have to do is go to the Contact page and fill in the details.
On a lighter note, I hope you enjoyed meeting Matt Kovatar in Issue #2. This issue gives you a little more depth into the environment Minarin Studios is, and what West Bung’ke citizens think of the Eastern monarchy. And, for sure, you’re going to watch Minarin and our primary characters unfold as a whole world.
Will the monarchy rebuild its reputation successfully, or will the king and queen have to pull extra weight to ensure safety across all of Bung’ke? This is a question I need to answer. If I don’t, please remind me.
After Matt, we have two primary characters left to introduce. I’m going to keep you guessing, and then, once that task is done, everything will connect.
Safe websurfing, everyone, and Happy Reading!
